Is there a way to replace the Vista Orb icon (start) with another icon?

You can search keyword 'viorb'.

I don't believe you can just change the Orb with a download, my guess is the aero.msstyles file in Themes has to be patched and modified.

Look for Vista themes on the neowin forums, most of these have some pretty useful changes, and there are tutorials for all kinds of editing.

@Scott: I just checked and it appears 'viorb' is for adding the Vista orb to Windows XP not change it on Vista.
