Here's the direct download link locations for the new patches you wrote about here:

The problem is that sometimes you can't seem to get past the WGA check for whatever reason even if you have a valid license, so here's the direct download links from the MS site.

Aren't these updates and patches that the Windows Updater should automatically download? Or is this a really necessary patch that i need to download manually?

I don't know that Windows Update has included these fixes yet... I think they will eventually be included in windows update though.

No, you have to download these manually.Update manager doesn't include these.
