Im running a Sony Vaio VGN-N31S with vista HP for about 8 months now and about a week ago, i whipped out my recovery disks do do a fresh install of vista (as 2 many hackin can cause problems ;P)
well, my base score on this piece of crap was 3.2 or 3.7 for the lowest sub-score which was my graphics to run aero wen i got it, after the fresh install my base score dropped to 2.0 for the same sub-score, i havnt changed any hardware?

is there any reason 4 this and is there a way 2 get back my original score without the hack 2 fake ur score?

Update your graphics drivers to the latest release from the Sony
support website. "VGN-N31S" doesn't come up as a valid model number.

I suggest you RUN this test from NVIDEA. That will tell you the real story. Forget the Vista rating. That means nothing.

vgn-n31s/w @rbailin - i downloaded updated drivers but they wont install.. after the reboot it still says the previous version and i've tried everything, online search for drives, install from folder and have disk.. it just stays the same version and windows tells me that's the best driver 4 me..
