Vista DreamScene Question

When playing a video in DreamScene that has audio should I be hearing it?

When I play such a video in DreamScene there is always no audio. I had searched DreamScene questions and help but could find answer.

I have no sound either, not even on the sample videos (i.e. the bear).

I guess there is no sound then. I was thinking of using a music video for the DreamScene but no use using it if there is no sound.

I found the fix. There is audio.

When you use DreamScene it is added to the Volume Mixer. Right click the little speaker in the tray, choose "open volume mixer" and you will see that is on "mute". Un-mute it and your audio will be there.

Sure enough, followed as directed and there was a muted button. Unfortunately I still can not get sound to play.

No worries, I rarely use it and I must have a solid background to enable 'Active Desktop' to run.
