Vista: Boot Manager Problem

Apparently this is a problem with no solution. The "Rescue my System!" button did not 'rescue' my system as I had hoped. I am just going to accept this unexplainable annoyance for what it is: an unexplainable annoyance. Thanks ScottW.

put in the recovery cd and go to cmd, type bootrec/fixboot then press enter, then type bootrec/fixmbr then enter, after that restart pc and that shoud do the trick
