so i installed the whole xp thing on a new partition but then found out most of the drivers i had downloaded were incompatible, even though i downloaded from the xp section of the manufacturers site. so after all this frustration i deleted my whole partition and merged it with my default drive (C:) which has vista installed on it. but what i want to do is, when i boot my computer, i want it to boot straight into vista rather than have it load the drive to boot into. how can i return it back to normal? i used VistaBOOT Pro 3.3 to make the Vista bootloader and stuff like that.

Just go into VistaBootPro, select "Manage OS Entries", select "Windows XP"/"Windows Legecy", click the X button to delete it and click "Apply Changes".
With just "Windows Vista" in the list a menu will no longer appear.
