Hi everyone,

I'm having issues dual booting Vista and XP Home (With Vista installed first). Whenever I install XP to the partition I made, my PC boots up and gives me something like "The Operating System failed to load..." and hangs. If it's important I nLite'd SP2 and removed and added programs as the 2002 version BSoDs on this computer on the pci.sys file (like many computers) this is solved by slipstreaming SP2 or 1 into the install. This bypasses the BSoD, but does not solve the error. Please help this newb :)
Specs:

Core 2 Duo E8200 45nm @ 2.66 GhZ
2GB RAM
Jetway NVIDIA 8800GT 512Meg PCI-e
500GB WD SATA Hard Drive

I think that's all the important specs... if you need MB Model ask.

Cheers

When you did the slipstream did you add in SATA drivers? Windows XP doesn't usually support SATA chipsets without a driver added.
