I want to understand the function of Virtualization Teechnology(VT), it is an option in d BIOS, but in the info they recommend not to enable it until required.
I was installing Backtrack 5 R2 64 bit in my VM ware 8 it promted me to enable VT though after enabling VT my Backtrack got installed but i want to understand the concept behind VT.

This way you can Checkmark the Hyper-V Platform Box also without having to do the tweak.
