Ian, that brings back memories, alright. The first game console I ever had at home was the Coleco Telstar -- the funky triangle shaped one. One side had knobs for playing Pong-like games, another had the steering wheel for playing driving games and the third side had a light gun for shooting. There was a Hunt the Bear game for the light gun that was great fun, for a while. And the object that you shot at looked nothing like a bear since it was made up of large blocks!

My parents brought home the Telstar when I was just a tadpole and we all had great fun with it. However, I quickly graduated to the Atari 2600 which was wildly popular and had more games and better ones. I still have a 2600 in storage somewhere.

Lol, filling up with nostalgia there...I've still got a NES, a SNES a Sega Mastersystem 2 and a Sinclair ZX Spectrum, all of which work! Well the NES is a bit tempremental but it's nearly as old as I am!

I haven't lived long enough to try all those consoles :D
The oldest one I've played was PS1 (1995)

Although i still prefer PC gaming over any console :-p

Brazillianboiii you make me feel old...I think I might have a PS1 lying about somewhere, I remember a game called 'Abe's Exoddus', absolute quality! PC gaming is good, don't get me wrong, but playing a console is easier with a hangover...:)

haha, with a hangover perhaps, but I think PC gaming is much easier in my option. At lest for games 'now a days' like First Person games, useing a Mouse can be much simpler, the using an analog stick on a Xbox or PS2, 3.

Take a look here

oh i forgot, add "&fmt=18" to the end of the url on that video.

They do, i think F.E.A.R. 1 was scarier though.
Do you happen to play F.E.A.R. Combat (AKA F.E.A.R. multiplayer) The first one

lol, yeah it's pretty scary, some people say it's not, but those people are the ones that are running the game on minum settings on their PC, which block some horror features from the game from appearing.
And the story of F.E.A.R. is.. well let's say very very unique.

lol Jack it's almost like an MSN, or AIM, only it's for games.. so you can launch your games using it, and mic chat.. take screen shots of the game, broadcast the game LIVE.. etc.
