What imaging program did you use. What PC, to where did you image, etc.

18 hours is definitely not correct. I image my whole C partition in 5 minutes.

@whs
Can I ask how you create your Image in 5 mins, I use Acronis 2011 and it takes about 30 mins for 22GB, image size 10GB with compression, mind you I run it from a bootable USB drive and not through Windows.
@krusse5
18 hours to create an image is a seriously long time , how much space is used on the C Drive?

@owen123

Must try that, have USB 3.0 myself, but I normally use me secondary hard drive in the PC to image too.

I image from a SSD to an eSata attached disk - or sometimes to an internal HDD. The size of my images is +/- 17GB. I use Macrium for imaging.
