I have recently installed Windows 7 on my Sony VAIO with Vista drivers. My
hard drive every so often goes inaccessible for just over 60 seconds, with
the HDD light gone solid. Do you know what is happening? I have tried HD
tune and finding Windows 7 drivers but Sony doesn't support any of its
previous computers for Windows 7. I have posted on many forums across the
internet and know one knows what is happening. I have
considered that it could be what I found on this blog post:

If it helps this is my other forum post:

Model: Sony VAIO VGN-120E
CPU: 1.47GHz Pentium Dual Core
HDD: 160GB
Original OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

Help Needed, have tried everything!
