Using Proxy's

I am wondering about getting an Ip address hider or a Proxy due being on Wi -fi olot . Are they a Good idea And Can I find one as demo or Cheap?one..?

Hello netsurfer77 and welcome to How-To-Geek,

If using Firefox, you can download an add-on called FoxyProxy which allows you to switch between normal browsing and a proxy. Give it a try :-)

- Use this Youtube tutorial on how to use it.

- A list of proxy servers

- Download FoxyProxy

Do be cautious with using proxy servers, as they will not give you 100% annonymity, I would also NOT recommend entering card details or entering password protected areas etc whilst using a proxy server!
