Normally I have the user account control turned off.
Yesterday I installed a scanner and for one reason or the other my user account control got switched on
(I don't know what the heck happened ...).
So this morning I found Erunt couldn't run, and when I started to look for the reason I got the annoying UAC popups. So that made it clear ...
I turned it off again, but to my surprise after restart the free space on my harddrive had changed.
Not so dramatic something is wrong, but I have enabled and disabled UAC 3 times to make sure I'd seen it right ...

With UAC switched on I use 4,6 % of my 500 GB harddrive
With UAC switched off I use 4,9 % of my 500 GB harddrive.

Now where's the logic in that? LOL!

Have a nice day!
Sarah.

It's either the SarahJames Phenomenon, or UAC could be hiding stuff that you are not allowed to touch.
