(Solved) - Use middle click to close taskbar items/windows

I always use middle click to close tabs in Firefox. Recently I've found myself absent-mindedly middle-clicking taskbar items to close them and then being dissapointed when it does nothing. It's usually when I want to close a window or application that I'm not using, and using the right click menu seems laborious.

Is there a way to set up the middle click properties to make it close open or minimized windows by middle-clicking on them in the taskbar?

Try taskbar shuffle. http://www1.freewebs.com/nerdc.....huffle.htm

It only advertises the drag and drop feature, but it also makes middle click close taskbar items. I use it and it's great.
