i finally received my rma'd asus motherboard for this old compac i rebuilt. i'm retrofitting a usb hub in the front but i'm not able to match up the wiring from the usb wiring to the plugs on the motherboard. the motherboard is an asus itx-220.
here's what i have:

motherboard usb plug
1- usb+5
2-usb_p5-
3-usb_p5+
4-GND
5-
6-usb+5v
7-usb_p6-
8-usb_6+
9-GND
10-NIC

usb hub wires
1 red (1) +5V
2 white (1) -D
3 green (1) +D
4 blue (1) GROUND
5 brown (1) GROUND
6 orange (2) +5V
7 yellow (2) -D
8 gray (2) +D
10 brown (2) GROUND

any ideas how this goes? would they go in numerical order? i did get the original switch to work but there's no reset or lights (yet)

OzSpitt, you have the right idea to follow the numerical order. the usb hub wires (10 brown (2) ground) that should be number 9.

usb pin out
the colors with not match so use the (1) for pins 1-5 and the (2) for 6-9.
i hope that helped
