My windows 7 disc broke during a move and I can no longer stand to use Vista - I have my original product key but I am not computer savvy and am having a hard time trying to find somewhere online that I can download windows 7 without having to buy a new disc - which I cannot afford. Once was bad enough with my budget:))

Can anyone help?

You will find them here. Download Official Windows 7 RTM with SP1 ISO (32-bit and 64-bit) Be sure to download the correct version. Then use imgBurn to create the DVD.

For activation you have to use the product key that is on the COA sticker of your PC. And as Xhi said, make sure you get the version which corresponds to that key.

It won't let me download on that site - it cancels just before the end of the download...

Can I download directly to my computer or is a USB stick okay? My CD drive doesn't work. Hmm, maybe I should just toss this computer:)

Download it to your PC so that you can make the USB bootable.

Use the steps for Rufus in this tutorial to make your USB bootable.
