Hi everyone,

First time posting here, seems like a great site from what I've seen.

I have a question: I recently received my Windows 7 Upgrade Kit from Dell to bring my 64-bit Vista up to date. Now I've been doing a bit of research, and it seems like my options are either to do an "upgrade" install, or a "clean" install. Unless I'm mistaken, a clean install will erase pretty much anything that I've put onto the pc since I got it, but an upgrade install may not provide full performance of W7. My question is this: is it worth taking the time to do a clean install (I don't have the ability to copy my whole system atm, would require a couple of purchases), or will there not be any significant difference between that and an "upgrade" install?

Thanks in advance,

Dazzy
