(Solved) - updating problem

I try to update AMD catalyst control center but it failed. it says my computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter. What does it mean and TQ for your cooperation

its a peice of hardware that you might have to consider upgrading.

post the make and model of your computer and people might be able to link you to some suggestion.

If you go here, there's an option on the right hand side to Automatically Detect and Install, you will need to download the small app and run it.

I have an ASUS laptop and RADEON HD 6730M 2GB graphic card. I already had download the "Automatically Detect and Install" app, run it, download the new driver but can't install it because it says my computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter

Did you go through AMD's Download Driver page and chose the proper driver matching your Operating System and card type? Its critical you choose the mobile driver (6730M). That means the driver is for your laptop model, not a desktop.

Could I suggest that you uninstall the driver in device manager.
Reboot your machine, windows will install a generic driver?
When windows is fully running, now try 'update driver'.

One other thing to remember is perhaps don't try to update drivers or hardware that does not require it
