Hi Everybody.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and have all my current updates installed.

Or so I thought -

This morning there is an notice that I have new update for Windows 7 64-bit systems waiting to be downloaded and installed. The update is categorized as being "important".

KB2762895

Does anybody here know anything about this ?

Any guidance and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

@ Mike -

Thanks very much. I'm one of those people who usually waits a week or two before installing the monthly pile of updates from MSFT - However, I'm concerned about these random updates which occasionally appear because I always wonder if there is some especially-urgent reason to apply them immediately.

In any case, I downloaded and installed the update without incident.

Thanks for your help.
