Uni project ideas

Hi all,

I have just started uni and have a project that I need to do. I don't want to know how to do it, but as I am a bit of a novice I was just wondering if you could give me some ideas for the project. Project basics listed below:

You need to select a topic that you can build a database for, build SQL statements to retrieve/update/insert data to and from the database, build a website of more than 5 pages, with HTML and CSS, validated against testing engines.

How big a data base are we talking about? And since it is an uni project, I assume there are no issues with proprietory data - this is not going to end up on the web? - or is it.

The database size is not specified, i believe that i just need to demonstrate that i can ' build SQL statements to retrieve/update/insert data to and from the database', i.e populate a drop down menu in a form, keep someone's details from the form and update an element of the database.The website will have a disclaimer page within it saying what it is for etc.
