Mac mini w\ leopard with xp on it as well. I have tried to install\reinstall the Win program I have on my XP laptop as well as Quick time and one other but none will open these files. All I get is that computer language coding when I try to open or install these programs or files.
Looking for a FIX.

Can you explain that a bit more clearly? You're trying to install software on your Mac Mini, in Windows (are you dual-booting via BootCamp or using something like Parallels to run XP inside of OS X?) but having trouble installing the Windows software?

Actually I believe xp is within the mac leopard os. Am not using boot camp, though it is on sys. From what I see my Win Office is a Mac version.
also have QT on here, but have deleted two other pgms that were supposed to work one was a Win pgm, win media player, other some 3rd party.
Stumped here, all should have worked.

If you're trying to play wmv files on your mac, you need to install the WMV Components for Quicktime (Flip4Mac) - which can be found here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windo.....nents.mspx

They're free, and once installed you can watch .wmv from within Quicktime.
