Created 2 Folders on the desktop, folders contained files, both folders where "read only", deleted all the files in both folders.

Now I want to delete the folders from the desktop and I am unable to do so, I tried to remove/un-check the read only box but once I apply or OK this the file seems to be re-set to read only.

I tried to cut and paste them in other folders but won't go either.

How to resolve and get these folders of the desk top
