(Solved) - Unable to access WD passport

Hey guys,

My windows 7 RC1 wont read my WD passport. XP reads it just fine. Windows 7 says that access is denied. Any ideas?

InDiSent, access is denied could be due to permissions. But I have accessed an external drive that I use in XP and Vista using Win7rc with no problems. So, I guess that the drives shows up in Device Manager and Disk Management, yes? What operation causes the "access denied" message?

You the man!!! It was the permissions. Weird because it worked before.

Thanks -- love the easy ones. So, how did you fix it? Did you happen to examine the permissions first to see what it said? I have a feeling that I'm going to run into the same issue eventually.

Yeah, i looked at the permissions first. In Win 7 Beta it just worked. I did a clean install to RC1 and there was a lot of things that didn't just work anymore. Slowly they started working after each update.
