Un opened messages being displayed in inbox, although there isn't any

Here is a strange one for you.
I am using Outlook 2007, and lately my inbox says I have 2 unread messages.
I emptied the inbox, but it still says I have 2 unread messages

Does anyone know what is causing this, and how do I fix it?

Have you tried just closing then re-starting the program, that generally works for me :)
