I have some lines that I need to run in terminal very often. I was wondering if there was a way to maybe create an small application that would run those commands by clicking on a launcher, without having to type in the commands every time. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Steve

I don't know what a script for it would be, but if you right click the desktop (Gnome, Ubuntu 9.04) you can create a launcher with the command(s).

You're more than welcome. Discovered that little tidbit myself when I wanted to create a "Tap/No Tap" set of desktop icons instead of constantly and tediously typing "synclient Tap1=1", and "synclient Tap1=0" into the terminal every time I wanted to turn the erratic touchpad on and off (was interfering with typing . . . and Touchfreeze didn't do it, nor qsynaptic or gsynaptic).
