Hello everyone! Long time reader of HTG but finally decided to sign up for forums. I've never worked with rsync before but I started thinking about my home disaster recovery plan and figured it was time to learn some. I have a samba server setup that stores my entire household's music, movies, documents, and pictures (currently about 300 GBs). What I want to do is purchase a external enclosure and throw in a 2 TB or 3 TB HDD and have the server back up to it. How can I configure rsync to run daily @ like 11:00 AM to copy the samba share directories but only copy new things.

So if movie A, B and C are in the internal HDD and the external HDD then skip copying it over.
