UBUNTU BOOT HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi when i boot my computer the grub loader initiates and says " grub loader is loading steps 1.5." the it says please wait the a message pops up saying " grub loader failed error 18" what do i do to fix this problem please help me!!!!!

Welcome to the forums.

Don't want to strike an abrasive tone, nor be "prudish", but might I suggest that you select "cleaner" language for your post titles.

As far as your problem, I think there is a way to edit the Grub loader and that might solve your problem.

For the specifics (which I can't remember at the moment), I suggest you post your question on the Ubuntu forums. They are very responsive there, the forum is extremely active, and it's dedicated to Ubuntu users. You will likely get a response within 24 hours, probably a lot sooner.

I have used that forum myself, and have gotten a lot of good and precise answers to my questions. There is a "beginner" sub-forum that is probably where you want to put your question. Not necessarily because you may be a beginner, but because that particular forum is really active.
