I cannot get hardly any images to work with the skydome. I usually only see a white or black background.
*Note* I have been using .png images

I cannot figure out why I can't see the skydome image. I had a image set before I installed the extra plugins using compiz-git that will not work now. Is there a resolution limit that the image has fall within? I read somewhere the resolution has to be a multiple of 2?

It is limiting me to 2048 x 512 or 1024x1024 (but oddly not 2048x1024 and definitely not 2048x2048).

When I run "glxinfo -l | grep GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE" in the terminal I get 2048.

well if you had it working before without the plug in i would uninstall it then see if it will work then search google for work a rounds if you really want the plug in
and i have never tried using png images either so that might be the case too maybe you should try some jpg images just to see if it makes a difference
