(Solved) - Ubuntu

I have got the ubuntu iso on a CD. It has an option for installation. Now i need to know that will it succesfully boot with my pre existing Vista HB?? or do i have to follow the same procedure as for XP. Since I dont want to risk, please response only if you're dead sure. ;)

abhs, if you want to avoid the risk from a dual boot configuration, you can use the Wubi Installer to add Ubuntu without having to mess with the MBR, or any bootloaders.

OK i have changed my mind. I have put Ubuntu on a PenDrive and it works. Now i have loads of apps on my system and it seems that ubuntu cannot run .exe files. Is there any way for that

if you run wine in ubuntu then you can use most windows programs
