Have you purchased, a widescreen PC or laptop, have you noticed a black border, around the edge of the screen on presentation mode. In this tutorial, I will show you how to fix this.
Step 1
Open PowerPoint, and create a new document.
Step 2
Go to the Design Tab, then hit Page Setup.
Step 3
Then Select either 16:9 or 16:10, In my experience laptops are 16:9, and widescreen displays are 16:10. Then Hit OK.
Step 4
Click on the drop down menu on the theme sorter, then hit save current theme, and save in the location the dialogue opens in.
Step 5
Once saved then find your theme in the sorter, then right click and press set as default theme.

Now You have changed the default size of PowerPoint Slides, it will remain 16:9 / 10 if you change the theme.
