transfer files (xbox)
(7 posts)Are those original Xbox consoles, or the new Xbox 360? It matters because they take different memory units, which are flash memory inside. For the original and 360 respectively:

As for an ethernet cable transfer, I don't know how to do that either. Both consoles have an ethernet jack, but there is no built-in software for transferring files over it. I think the folks who do this have modded Xbox consoles that will boot non-Microsoft discs allowing them to run other software. That voids the warranty, but an original Xbox console won't be under warranty anyway. I have heard about, but never used, XBMC software that will run on modded Xbox consoles for media playback, streaming, and it may also do file transfer:
