Toshiba A500/01M HDD LED

Hi I have this problem with my notebook, the HDD LED light keeps flashing every (1 sec). I don't know how to stop it not to flash. Does anyone know the problem to this?

Hi Becky, the flashing indicates the HDD is 'working' ie, doing something; nothing to worry about. If it does not flash now and then, start worrying!!
