thinkpad t41 missing drivers

After a fresh install of win xp (on my other laptop), I am missing 6 drivers. I have been searching and downloading drivers and after many failed attempts I am coming here for help.
I have downloaded the correct drivers from the websites, but after installing them nothing has changed. Device manager doesn't find them and I still dont have internet? Obviously I'm doing something wrong but....what?

here are the devices and hardware id's

ethernet controller PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_1014&SUBSYS_833117AB&REV_01
ethernet controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_101E&SUBSYS_05491014&REV_03
multimedia audio controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24C5&SUBSYS_05371014&REV_01

unknown device ACPI\IBM0068 *IBM0068
video controller (VGA compatible) PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4C57&SUBSYS_05301014&REV_00

start here Overview - ThinkPad T41, T41p
Then click on drivers and software. then select Laptops & Tablets, then your model details. There you will find the drivers you need.

Yes Thank-you Xhi. I have the downloaded all the drivers, but cannot make the system find or acknowledge them.

Make sure you input the correct series, subseries, machine type, model and operating system. The driver downloads are executable files (.exe) so you just need to run them and let it install the specific driver. Download and install the chipset drivers first (might take care of the unknown device).

If I remember correctly, the last time I set up a Lenovo computer, the driver exe only expands the downloaded file into a folder on the C: drive and contained readme files for what to install for what I had. Seam to remember the file names being "odd". Just a thought.
