hi,
Lately I got a problem with vista , usually I mark some files as hidden , and then when I want to use them/find them I press on "organize" then on "folder and search option" from the new window that appears I press on "view" then Under "Advanced settings", I click "Show hidden files and folders", and then I click OK.
But the weirdest thing have happened a couple days ago : the " Advanced settings" is gone and I cant finde the "Show hidden files and folders" also.
Here a ss I captured :

I can find the files in windows live search.
But I really will be thankful if u will help me in returning this option back!

Plz help

Thanks, Scott. :D This will be useful for making sure that sneaky guests can't access the hidden files and folders.

@ m1o2 - concerning your introduction in your first post here: if you use the option to toggle hidden folders a lot your way is rather a lot of work. Maybe you'd like to use moon software's shelltools. They're free and add the option in your rightclick menu to toggle hidden folders. Full description is on their site.
