Oddly enough, the residents of that small village just might experience the END by being trampled to death by the masses on 21 December, 2012. LOL

Jim, this is quite possible, if the 56121 HTG members were on the way now! (LH is directing traffic)
But just in case they get it right this time Lowell has set up a temporary HTG server in the Bugarach town hall.

I would only be concerned if I were Mayan. My calendar goes all the way to the 31st. and I have received several for next year already. The Mayans can probably save themselves by sending a donation to the ASPCA or a similar organization to get their calendar refreshed.

So it didn't happen but don't worry 'They' are now saying "the next end of the world" (not sure how it's possible to have more than one) "is going to be Jan 1st 2017".

And then, again, about 4-5 yrs after that I would guess.

As I posted a while ago, in another thread, the Mayan calender is a bit iffy on it's dates. So, could still happen soonish.

I don't think the Mayan calendar is 'iffy', more so the fact that a year has changed compared to what it was back then, months have been added and increased/decreased.

But still a lot of fuss over nothing.
