Taskmanager error

The same day I upgraded to Win 7 ultimate, when I tried to run Taskmanager I started getting an error box with just "-9" in the message area. I tried running taskmanager. exe from the system dir and from the task bar and thru "cntrl-alt- del" with the same results. Any suggestions

I have the same problem.
Did something with a driver/app upgrade, saw the -9 Error and Task Manager now opens a for a split second and closes. Replaced it with Extended Task Manager but it still is not working and I would like to fix it.
Have corrected some Registry TaskManager entries per another site, but still no go.
