I am wondering what this is and if I need it. It shows up in my Device Manager and under network connections. My computer is running Windows 7 x64

@Lighthouse,
I haven't ever had TrustConnect installed.

@vistmike,
The only antivirus I have had is avast! and Microsoft Security Essentials.

As far as I can find out, it's to do with a virtual network connection. Ring any bells ?

I decided to just risk it an uninstall TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 from the Device Manager and so far nothing has been different. Hope it stays that way.
