Why doesn't the google nexus have a rear facing camera? I have an iPad - but sometimes, I would like to have a 7" tablet. I would really like to get a nexus; I've even gone so far as to buy it on the google website - only to click cancel a few minutes later. The reason? Apple has spoiled me - I want a tablet with a rear facing camera. If google can have a front facing camera on their tablet, how hard can it be to add a rear facing camera? They have it on their phones - so what is the problem with adding it to their tablet?

In the US, Contact 855-836-3987 to discuss the issue.

I feel sure the representative will be able to answer all of your technical questions concerning the nexus product lines.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7") has a 3mp rear facing camera. Usually around $199 USD.

Who need it. I would never use my Nexus for photos. Those 3 or 5 MP cheap camaras in the tablets are for the birds. You can buy a 16MP small camera for $70. That takes beautiful pictures.

But Rick gave you the right anser: Call Google
