If you want to clean up your Mac the easy way, CleanMyMac is a great tool to get the job done easily, and it will even keep your computer clean automatically.

Unlike the competition, it also includes great tools like a Clean Uninstaller, to get rid of applications and clean up the junk that they leave behind. All with the click of a button.

Dear Geeks,

In 2003, MS removed the .pcx filter from the OS.

Many original documents, for legal reasons, cannot be changed, and contained .pcx graphics.

Is there a tested way to restore .pcx at system level, recognised in Windows Explorer and therefore MS Office ?

Not sure if there's a way to bring back support for the pcx file format import in Office after version 2003 and since you can not alter original documents due to legal reasons, I would suggest LibreOffice which I believe (have not use it for a while) supports import of graphic formats including PCX which MSOffice after 2003 does not.
