7 is going to be the breakthrough here in Germany, there has been so many different companies swearing they´ll change from 2000, XP as soon as 7 arrives. I´ve just had to tell my college where I´m learning networking that I need Server 2008 (Along with Unix) because 2003 is dead!!! Matt

I run XP Pro and had Win 7 Beta in Dual Boot Configuration on this machine for awhile.
---
The only item I disliked about Win 7 Beta was could not run in True Classic Mode.
---
Everything worked OK in 7 Beta and better in 7 RC1 I assume.
---
The Boot Manager is going to be a "Bear" for the Newbies to understand.
---
Edit: Books for Win 7 RTM will be published in October from my readings.

Rick P.

Companies are driven by their applications. A naked Operating system does not mean much to them. If there will be a lot of new applications developed for W7, they will move eventually. But that will take time. In addition, those IT people are lazy. Why should they work hard for a change as long as the old stuff still works.
