Hi, Guys.

Since recently, when I shut down my PC I get a message on the screen:

0x0012e760 referenced memory at “0x ffffffff” the memory could not be “read”
To terminate programm click OK
To debug click Cancel

I clicked Cancel, next time clicked OK, but the message appears every time I shut down the PC.
I have done full scan with antivirus software, but this has not helped.

Any idea what could be a problem and how to fix it, please ?

Start in Safe mode and see if it happens again, if no message disable some start up items one by one to determine what is causing it.

Thank you Guilty Spark, I will try that. Have forgotten to mention that on the frame it also says: c2c_service.exe - Application Error. Do not know what that means, of course.

Try either updating Skype or Uninstalling and Re-installing it.

C2c_service seems to be a program associated with Skype. If you have Skype running try either closing it before you try to log off, or try not starting it to begin with and see if the problem goes away.

Thank you Guilty Spark and Xhi. Yes, the Skype was giving me other problems as well. I will try to re-install later tonight. Will let you know. Thanks again.
