Can someone give me a detailed accountt on storage devices

You need to be a little more clear as to what it is you are looking to find out.

Do you need this to write a report for school?
Want to know which disk to buy?
Want to know which CDs to buy?
Need more memory?
Want to know which flash drives to buy?
Network Attached Storage?
Need an ancient Drum?
Floppy Disk?
Zip Disk?
Paper tape?
Punched card?

Could you be a little more specific.

Xhi, let me add to the problem. Someone gave me a "Micro SDHC Reader" from EagleTec. I was too embarrassed to explain I have no what it is for. It looks like a memory stick but I dare not stick it into my computer in case it is meant for another type of device and crash my system. I went online but all the references assume basic knowledge of the device which I do not have. Please help.

If one end plugs into a USB port, it is an adapter for reading Micro SDHC cards.

Look all those I listed up in Wikipedia and plagiarize those articles. Should get you at least a C. For a small fee I could do the Google for you if you are very busy.

@drift, This is your first post "Can someone give me a detailed accountt on storage devices" you are probably going to Google for storage devices. Maybe, even go to the library and find a book. When you do that and find that there is something you are not familiar with or need more information, then post what you need help with. No one here is going to do your research for you. Except Xhi, and he is probably expensive.
