In the same way the Print/Print Preview buttons works, has anyone come across extensions that create the same for stop and reload?

What do you want to stop/reload all of? Like tabs, images, etc.

Tabs. I essentially want the buttons to function the same way but have the possibility for stopping all tabs or reloading all tabs.

More buttons than anyone could need: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2377

Home Page: http://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/
Toolbar Button Maker: http://codefisher.org/toolbar_.....tton_maker

Make sure you check out the "Toolbar Button Maker" to make your own smaller button package.(possibly just the two buttons you mentioned)

Can do what I did and install the whole pack from Mozilla Addons and use it for a while to see which buttons you want.

EDIT: my bad, the above doesn't offer combined "stop/stop all", but separate buttons.

Well that is a start because I know it is possible now.

The context menu (right-click) on the tab bar or tab gives the option Reload All Tabs, so that function is in Firefox.
Shouldn't be too hard to implement, either in an extension or by modifying/adding code for the default button.

You could pass a request to the addon dev I linked to above, for the dual function buttons.
