Static electricity?

Have finally got all the components together that I will be using However can't get a static wrist strap localy my question is how do I put my unit together safely without one?Would really be a drag screwing something up with a static charge.Thanks

I built my rig without a static band and didn't have a problem. Only thing you need to do is make sure you ground yourself before touching anything.

I suggest you assemble your computer naked to avoid any static that may build up on your clothing. =P

You can always assemble the bits in the shower. The water will ground you. - LOL

Put your PSU and mobo in first, and plug it in. The PC is now grounded and touching it will get rid of all your static charge.
