Hi,

I followed to how to : Install Tomcat 6 on Ubuntu.
According to the comments I must be the only one that cennot get it to work.
When I try to start tomcat by running startup.sh I get the message thet the JAVA_HOME (and another) variable isn't set yet.
Although I have added the line mentioned in the how to to the ~/.bashrc file

I wonder if there is a way to find out if the variable is correctly set?
