Start Up Repair

Every time I turn on my PC, it says "disc read error, control, alt delete to start". The next window is "do you want to run windows 7". I enter and then it starts start up repair. Sometimes it loads files and and sometimes it stops in the middle. After a while it says repair has fixed the problem, restart. This happens 99 out of 100 times when I turn on the computer. Can anyone help. I have and Emachine.

Do you have a USB drive or any other USB device plugged in when this happens?
Check your boot order in your BIOS and make sure your hdd is first boot order.

artnun52, boot your machine, you have 2 options in most cases,

As the machine boots tap the F12 key, select 1st boot to HDD, press enter, machine should now boot into windows.

Ensure the DVD drive is without a boot disk inserted also.
