I have a Vaio desktop computer. Model number Pcv rs410, windows xp home edition.
Now, the question I have is that whenever I start my computer I have lots of programs
that start up automatically, example-real player, photoshop elements and so and so on.
These are programs plus many others that were put into the computer at a later time, not when
I got the computer. I had gone to Msconfig then to the startup tab but there was a limited
amounts of files in there, and the ones I was looking for were not there. They show up in the
task manager, then I end the process. Is there a better way to do this, than having to go to
the task manager to stop the program?

hello Juanhrt,

so you want to stop those applications from starting up automatically? there is a tool available to do that. this tool does not need to be installed you just run it and it will list all the applications that startsup when you login to Windows. it's called Startup Control Panel and it's safe. i use it on my servers.

mods, if you think the link needs to be removed please do so.
