ssh terminal to mac pro

hi,
I am a new person for that computer forums I have some problems with my mac pro I am not very similar for UNIX or Linux when I read some forums its saying to go in the terminal to log in ,I am trying many time all time terminal saying connection failed ,I am asking do I need to change in mac pro or I am wrong to ssh in terminal.I am trying to log in,terminal in my apple TV 2

Why would you want to do that? Log in to your Apple TV? Isn't it a matter of seconds? Why are you using SSH?
