I have heard of AVG -- it's wildly popular, but getting a lot of bad press lately. I have never heard of Spyware Terminator until just recently. From what little I've read, it looks as if Spyware Terminator was originally designed to remove spyware only, not viruses. Now they provide an extension for virus protection (ClamAV?) It sounds like this virus protection has been tacked on to a spyware app.
