hey gang ...
i started a thread once where there was a great deal of feedback in, where i asked what "Whats Your Favorite Movie / Movie Scene or Book"

with Halloween around the corner i thought it might not be such a bad idea so, wanted to try something similar but this time ask specifically what scary / horror movies you thought were really good.

While not a horror film per se, The Vanishing left me filled with fear and trepidation. Yikes.

I first watched it while house sitting for a friend, out in the country, alone.. so so alone. Scary stuff.

I don't recall watching anything scary. Maybe the chair got in the way. (I used to hide behind the chair when the theme tune for Dr Who came on, tho I could watch the program no probs)

LOL, I generally go do the dishes when the nasty parts pass by.
And I think the lift was about the last scary thing I watched. Must have been 11 or 12 at the time, so way too young.
I've never liked horror anyway.

@SarahJames As usual, reality is more disturbing that fiction. What a creep! I hope they lock him up for a very long time.

John. I found Saw 1 more interesting than scary.
